Database Demos

POS Demo

You have a company which sells widgets via a network of distributors and their sales reps. You are making POS data available over the web, allowing distributors and reps to analyze their data in a variety of ways. Our demo runs on a SQL (MySQL) database which can be updated by the headoffice via an ODBC connection to the internal Access database or by uploading an Excel or CSV file. Our demo consists of purely ficticous data, is however based on a real case. For the purposes of this demo, we have limited the data to 2 fiscal periods consisting of a total of approx 40,000 records.
To test drive this Demo as different users, use any one of these username and passwords (username and passwords are the same):
aaa111 or bbb222 or ccc333 or ddd444 or eee555

Data will be restricted to user data only i.e. data for a particular distributor only.

To test drive this demo as an admin, use username: admin and password: demo_pos.

As admin you will be able to access all data and run additional reports e.g. Sales and budget analysis.
